Chapter Mission Statement The mission of the NYC Chapter of the IIBA is to promote the standards, practices and the contribution of Business Analysis and provide support for the CBAP® certification. In order to assist in accomplishing this mission we are undertaking an initiative to re-launch the chapter. A new board of directors has been formed to execute this plan and further the success of the chapter’s future. The overall goals of the NYC Chapter are
Promote the role of Business Analyst and International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) in the New York City area business community
Promote the standards and best practices in the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK®)
Facilitate knowledge sharing and individual contributions within the New York City Business Analyst community
Facilitate the professional growth of CBAP® certified Business Analysts in the New York City area

Last NYC Chapter Event
On Jan 17th, the NYC Chapter of the IIBA held its monthly meeting at the offices of Microsoft.
Drew Dials presented an engaging discussion entitled: Improve Productivity with Microsoft Application Life-cycle Management Tools.
The event was all about networking with fellow professionals and Business Analyst practitioners in the NYC Community.
The chapter experienced an excellent attendee turnout for the event, followed by networking with fellow business analysts.
